Regarding the outsourcing of instrument maintenance

The company has been discussing this matter recently, as it mostly uses foreign brands. In order to reduce costs, the company is considering outsourcing some of the maintenance work for the instruments; currently, flow meters are the ones under consideration. I’m not sure if this will work Has this pattern been done before?

Outsource the flow meter separately? This is indeed very rare. At my previous Sinopec plant, we outsourced the maintenance of valves to Wuzhong Instruments. Which manufacturer are your DCS/PLC/SIS from? Need to outsource or not
DCS PLC SIS: We generally don’t outsource this task; everything else is mostly outsourced. After all, some people aren’t reliable~~~
