Shenhua Materials Group signs a framework agreement with Ineos for the procurement of polypropylene main catalysts

On November 28, Shenhua Materials Group signed a framework agreement with INEOS Technologies USA (hereinafter referred to as “INEOS”) for the procurement of polypropylene main catalysts, with the total purchase value under this framework agreement amounting to $3.9 million. The successful signing of this contract provides the coal-to-oil chemical company with safe, timely, and cost-effective supply support. INEOS’ high-performance polypropylene catalysts are at the core of the Innovene gas-phase polypropylene process. This catalyst exhibits excellent shape control, high activity, and selectivity. INEOS polypropylene catalysts are specifically developed to control the formation of random polymers, while also enabling the production of isotactic polypropylene in very high yields. The synthesized resin products feature a narrow particle size distribution, good flowability of the powder, low ash content, non-corrosive properties, good color (without the use of colorants), low odor, and high product consistency. INEOS is one of the largest polypropylene producers in the world, with over 30 years of experience in polypropylene production and licensing.
