There is no conversion formula between the pound-class and MP-class of nominal pressure; they are two distinct nominal pressure series. Generally, an approximate correspondence is determined based on their structural parameters.

This post was last edited by hlcl on 2016-8-28 08:38. The pound rating corresponds to the US standard pressure scale, while MPa represents the Chinese standard pressure scale. A basically accurate formula that I’ve derived: LB*0.017=MPa (round off; no decimals allowed)
The US standard does not have 400 pounds. Available: 150LB, 300LB, 600LB, 900LB, 1500LB, 2500LB. I have only been exposed to so many weight classes.
Here’s the simplest way: multiply pounds by 0.017 to get the nominal pressure
