Because your burner is burning residue oil, there is coking in its nozzle; when there is a high amount of methane, it burns rapidly, and the coking cannot be completely removed, which leads to uneven combustion.
Can it be understood in this way: the burner burns unevenly, resulting in lower temperatures in certain areas of the gasification furnace, and these lower temperatures lead to an increase in methane content?
