Seeking guidance from seniors

I graduated with a bachelor’s degree in oil and gas storage and transportation, and I am currently working as a process engineer at a private company that specializes in the installation of pressure pipelines. I’m still on probation, and my colleagues say that there have been no projects available for half a year now, so they think I might leave as well. The local design institute is hiring again; should I go for an interview?
It’s mainly that I don’t know which skills learned in which places will be more suitable for my future development.
To figure out which path to take in the future, it’s recommended to go to a design institute!
During the trial period, you can go anywhere. No unit has any work to do, so the opinions of others can only be used as a reference. The process is still quite challenging.
