If the installation unit and the manufacturing unit are not the same, the owner should provide the pressure vessel’s accompanying documents to the installation unit, which will then handle the necessary notification procedures. Pressure vessels and pressure pipelines fall under the two categories of special equipment that require installation; the installation layout diagrams for pressure vessels and their auxiliary equipment (provided by the pressure vessel manufacturers) are supplied by those manufacturers, while the installation schematics for pressure pipelines require design drawings prepared by professional design firms. Both the installation of pressure vessels and pressure pipelines requires relevant qualifications, namely a pressure vessel installation license and a pressure pipeline installation license; these two licenses cannot be used interchangeably. For example, if the pressure vessel room is contracted out in separate sections, the owner needs to coordinate the following tasks. The pressure vessel manufacturer must provide the installation dimensions of the vessels, installation layout plans, foundation diagrams, details of auxiliary equipment, and information regarding the power consumption of such equipment. During the installation process, the installation contractor must first go through the necessary procedures to obtain approval from the inspection agency before starting work; construction then takes place under the supervision of this inspection agency (though this is often more of a formality). After completion, the installation contractor, the owner, and the inspection agency jointly conduct an inspection, with the inspection agency issuing a certificate confirming that the installation has been completed satisfactorily. The owner then uses this certificate to apply to the relevant authorities for a registration permit for using the pressure vessels. Pressure pipelines are more or less the same.
