Under what circumstances should a pressure gauge be installed in front of a safety valve?

Dear experts, I need some help regarding the pressure gauge used with safety valves: Is it only when a safety valve is combined with a burst disc that a pressure gauge is needed? Do safety valves designed for thermal expansion types and liquid types not all require pressure gauges? Is it not necessary to install a pressure gauge on the internal relief valve provided to prevent the heat exchanger from rupturing? For meteorological safety valves, if there is no rupture disc, is it not necessary to install a pressure gauge? Thank you~~

For those that have only a safety valve and no rupture disc, some form of pressure control or indication is necessary; it’s just that usually this is not installed on the pipeline leading to the safety valve inlet
