Safe work can only be carried out smoothly if it is given attention by top management. 　　Second, the Provisions on Safety Training for Production and Business Operations clearly state that after the principal persons in charge of production and business operations and safety management personnel have completed training at training institutions recognized by the safety supervision and inspection authorities as having the appropriate qualifications, such institutions shall issue them corresponding certificates of completion of training. 　　The second matter is regarding the fire that broke out last month in the storage room of the administrative building. 　 　Regarding this fire accident, the Management Department’s analysis of the cause is that it was caused by aging or a short circuit in the electrical wiring. However, based on my inspection of the scene and interviews with relevant personnel, the cause of this accident was not aging or short circuits in the electrical wiring. Instead, it was due to staff from the sales department throwing unextinguished cigarette butts into plastic trash bins while serving customers; when the cleaners left work, they placed those bins in a storage room, and it was the smoldering of those unextinguished cigarette butts that led to the incident. Fortunately, it was discovered in time, preventing a larger fire accident. At the same time, some problems were revealed during the firefighting efforts. Firstly, some people did not know how to use fire extinguishers; some employees held the extinguishers and pressed the handle hard without any effect, while complaining that there was something wrong with the extinguishers – it turned out that the safety pin had not been removed. Secondly, during fire fighting, some people lack a strong sense of self-protection; they stand too close to the source of fire or in an inappropriate position, resulting in their hair getting burned. 　　Based on this accident, I suggest the following: First, smoking should be completely prohibited within the factory; in line with humanistic principles, smoking areas should be established. 　　Although the company has few hazardous areas prone to fire and explosion, fire safety remains a top priority for all departments and positions within the enterprise. “Hidden dangers are worse than open flames; prevention is better than firefighting. 　　Second, strengthen the fire safety training for employees, including not only those working on the front line but also administrative staff. Safety in the factory concerns every employee, which is also a reflection of the principle that \"everyone is responsible for safe production.\" 　　The third thing is regarding my registration as a safety engineer. 　 　As a safety officer, it is essential to continuously improve one’s professional skills. Therefore, not long after joining the company, I paid out of my own pocket to register for the safety engineer exam, and I studied hard in my free time until I finally passed the exam. Next is the registration process. I asked the HR department about this before, and they replied that it is a qualification exam introduced in recent years; you just need to have a safety officer certification to be qualified for this role. You can register the company in your name, but the salary will remain unchanged, and the costs related to further education will have to be borne by you personally. 　　At present, **metallurgical enterprises require the presence of registered safety engineers; therefore, I request that the company approve my registration with the company, taking into account my circumstances.
