Heat tracing can be used; run the steam line alongside the main line, and if it is long enough, it can be divided into sections.
The buried sections all have a cover plate structure, which is removed and rewelded. Repairs are carried out during major overhauls. Generally, no problems arise, but without heating, the device can freeze in winter, which may affect production.

The top surface of the chamber walls should be about 100 mm above the ground level, and it should be equipped with a cover. The clearance between the bottom of the chamber and the bottom of the pipes should be no less than 200 mm; for insulated pipes, this clearance should be at least 300 mm. The valve chamber should also have drainage facilities.
