Were there any test takers in previous years who didn’t write their answers in the brackets but still received a score? Come out and dispel my worries! PS: If it has to be written in parentheses, then what’s the use of an answer sheet?
It’s my first time taking this exam; I didn’t see it.
The answer sheet is used for computer-based grading; only those who pass the automated assessment can proceed to manual reevaluation. The answer isn’t written in the brackets, so it depends on whether the grading is strict or lenient. It’s usually fine.
Due to time constraints, many people don’t read the instructions on the test cover and start answering the questions right away
I didn’t write it in the morning; I did it in the afternoon. I’m a bit worried about whether I’ll get points, because failing this would be a big loss for me
Since the suggestions in the parentheses aren’t written down, I recommend that you check the requirements in the last sections of this year’s admission ticket; read them carefully – failing to do so will result in a 100% failure score, with no points awarded.
I’m sure that the Shanghai admission tickets don’t have these items; Shanghai isn’t Beijing, and things are different in each place
Yes, who would have thought one would have to do this: fill out answer sheets and also write in those brackets? It’s like taking off one’s pants to fart! For the majority of the questions in the morning, I just checked the boxes; I thought those brackets were added there out of habit
The answer should be written in the brackets. Is it definitely stated on the cover?
The admission ticket only states that one must answer questions strictly in accordance with the requirements on the test paper and answer sheet. It’s not clear whether the test paper actually specifies that answers should be written within parentheses; if that is indeed the case, and if there isn’t enough space on the answer sheet, it’s likely that no points will be given during reevaluation – after all, the graders won’t go out of their way to help you
