The major event held by Haichuan in 2016 – Prizes kept increasing (the top 3 qualified and original video creators who participated in the event received a commemorative water bottle; additional lucky prizes were added later on). There were also videos providing guidance for beginners in various roles as well as videos sharing experiences. With the rise of technical training and education, video-based teaching has become widely known and accepted by everyone. Compared to text-based teaching, visual-textual teaching, and face-to-face instruction, this approach is more intuitive; it overcomes visual limitations, enables better observation of the subject of study, and highlights key points. By reproducing and simulating real-life scenarios, it stimulates our emotions, attention, and interest from multiple angles. This Haichuan Forum provides a platform for sharing, featuring an activity for uploading Haichuan “technical videos.” Members can upload their own original videos to Haichuan (by sending them via QQ online). In addition to competing for awards in this activity, such original content will be featured on Haichuan’s “online training platform,” and you can also earn a share from any sales generated, while simultaneously obtaining the status of a Haichuan instructor. We hope that all marine enthusiasts will actively participate; their works can be uploaded to the “Haichuan Online Training Platform”, where they can be sold in exchange for wealth or Haichuan coins, allowing them to earn a share of the profits. The content submitted for participation is divided into original and non-original types; original content can be sold on the Haichuan Online Training Platform after being uploaded (instructors can receive a share of the proceeds). The content must not be original, must not involve any copyright issues, and must not contain promotional material (and should not be repetitive with content already available on HaiChuan). 2. Original content: original software tutorial videos, self-recorded videos on equipment maintenance procedures, self-recorded safety training videos, as well as videos on converting custom-made PPTs into video formats (the videos must be audio-recorded). There are also videos on design basics, guidance for starting out in various positions, and video tutorials sharing experience; anything related to the chemical industry is acceptable (original content must not have been published anywhere before). High-quality video content can be sold directly on “Haichuan Online Training” to earn Haichuan coins or a share of the profits. Serial content (6 videos or more) receives an additional bonus point. 3. Each individual video should be at least 20 minutes long; it is recommended that the length be between 30 and 80 minutes. 4. Format requirements: MP4 files or EXE videos of screen recordings (with audio). Methods of production: 1. For device repair procedures and live training sessions, a camera or a high-quality smartphone can be used for recording. 2. For software training materials and tutorial videos that require PPT presentations, screen recording software can be used for recording. Videos must not contain logos or watermarks that serve as a form of promotion. When creating video recordings, state your “Haichuan Chemical Forum + username” in the voice introduction at the beginning. Protect personal privacy and technical secrets on your own. 5. Do not post controversial content; you will be responsible for any consequences arising from uploading copyrighted material. 6. Event Rewards: This event features phased awards, including: immediate rewards, (Best) Originality Award, Most Enthusiastic Participation Award, and the Most Popular Award in each category. Immediate Rewards: All participants who submit their topics in the designated sections as required, and whose videos pass the preliminary review, will receive an immediate reward of 100–500 wealth points. (Best) Original Work Award: Until the end of the event, the best original works will be selected through judge scoring, with 1–3 winners chosen; each winner will receive a Redmi smartphone (worth 899 yuan). Most Popular in Each Category Award: Until the end of the event, within each category, 1–2 winners will be determined by a combination of judge scoring and public voting, with a total of no less than 20 winners, who will receive either a Haichuan commemorative water bottle or 200 Haichuan coins.
