There is another company besides Ti Hui Tian Bang Membrane for hydrogen extraction
We use Tianbang’s version; it has broken down this year, probably due to issues with the operation
What is the principle behind the membrane for hydrogen extraction? Could you explain it in more detail?
Hollow fiber membranes have high selectivity for hydrogen. Separation is achieved through steps such as dissolution, diffusion, and desorption, driven by the pressure difference between the inner and outer sides of the hollow fiber membrane. This creates a hydrogen-rich airflow on the inner side of the hollow fiber membrane, while a inert airflow is formed on the outer side.
Is it a purely physical reaction? Is it the same principle as using a sieve to filter? I can’t figure it out
