When the air valve is opened to 4 mA, the double-acting valve opens fully, which means its operation is opposite to the command. After connecting it with 475, it showed \"air to close\"; I changed it to \"air to open\", but it still didn’t work at all. Swapping the two air supply pipes connected to the locator caused the valve to stop functioning altogether. I forgot to check the model of the locator; it has no display screen, is gray in color, and its cover is secured with hex screws.
Restore to factory settings, reconfigure parameters, and verify again
For double-acting types, it’s just specified as air-on or air-off – no other details! They’re all opened with gas! If there are no issues with the installation of your locator! Just change the forward and reverse actions of the controller, and that’s it
I just want to reverse the effect, but when using model 475 I can only find the air-on/air-off options; the same is true when trying to switch the output air path of the regulator – I want to reverse it, yet nothing seems to work.
Change it on the DCS or PLC! Change it on whatever controller is being used
It’s probably due to the different structural designs of the valve core; it’s best to consult the manufacturer’s staff.
