Under what circumstances do defective products arise, and when can quality personnel stop production?
Multiple instances of consecutive quality issues or major quality problems have occurred.
Theoretically, at any time; in practice, many comprehensive factors need to be taken into account, which those in the factory industry understand.
In our factory, in most cases, once defective products are produced, the corresponding production process is halted until the final handling decision is officially approved, after which work can proceed again. In a few cases, it depends on the circumstances. At its worst, the entire product line had to be halted because defective items were produced.
In several private companies I’ve worked for, it’s not allowed to stop work on one’s own; if the quality department identifies a problem and orders that work to be stopped, one will instead face criticism.
