The concentration of sulfur dioxide in gas detectors

The unit has installed a new desulfurization system and has just purchased sulfur dioxide gas detectors. Currently, we are preparing the documentation related to these detectors (for work in confined spaces), and we need data on the hazards that different concentrations of this gas pose to human health. Similar to carbon monoxide, there are values such as the permissible concentration for short-term exposure, the time-weighted average permissible concentration, the concentration that causes immediate harm, and the maximum level allowed in the surrounding environment. I work for a company that is not in the chemical industry; we have almost no contact with such things. I need advice from someone who has experience in this area.
Sulfur dioxide: PC-TWA time-weighted average allowable concentration is 5 mg/m3; PC-STEL short-term exposure allowable concentration is 10 mg/m3
Occupational exposure limit: Threshold value: 2 ppm (time-weighted average), 5 ppm (short-term exposure limit)； A4 (cannot be classified as a human carcinogen) (American Conference of Industrial Hygienists, 2006). Maximum allowable concentration: 0.5ppm, 1.3mg/m3 ； Maximum limit category: I (1) ； Pregnancy risk category: C (Germany, 2006). Effects of short-term exposure: This substance irritates the eyes and respiratory tract. Inhalation may cause asthma-like reactions. Effects of long-term or repeated exposure: Repeated or prolonged inhalation exposure may cause asthma. Depending on the level of exposure, it is recommended to undergo regular medical check-ups. Asthma symptoms often become apparent after a few hours, and physical exertion exacerbates them. Therefore, rest and medical observation are necessary. Anyone who develops asthma symptoms due to this substance should no longer be exposed to it. Do not spray water on the leaking cylinder (to prevent corrosion of the cylinder).
