I would like to ask the experts here: The existing unit was equipped with a fan that had an air volume of 5000 and a total pressure of 9055 Pa. Now, a new fan is being installed, one with an air volume of 8000 and a total pressure of 11000 Pa; this new fan comes with an integrated motor, and its power rating is 30 kW. Is it possible to achieve the same operating conditions as the original equipment by installing an inverter to reduce the fan’s speed? What is the principle? Thank you
By lowering the operating point, both the outlet pressure and flow rate decrease; it is necessary to check the performance curve to see if surge will occur. I don’t think there should be any major problems

That’s right. During the testing before replacing the fan, it wasn’t done under load conditions but rather at no load. After the replacement, testing was carried out in the same manner, with the frequency reduced; production was then carried out under that load, but the data no longer matched the original test conditions and results. I’d like to understand the reason behind this and seek some guidance – reducing the frequency is intended to replicate the original operating conditions
