Process simulation + 3D scene = ?

Let’s start a discussion: Based on simulation software such as Aspen, and by applying the principles of process design and engineering design to recreate 3D scenes of factories, combined with current VR technology, could transforming traditional training and assessment methods into those carried out within 3D scenes represent the future direction of development?
It should be, just like learning *driving software these days……
Now simulation manufacturers are able to meet the above requirements; I have used them before
