What is the purpose of the DN150 steam line at the bottom of the acidic water stripping tower, which leads directly beneath the tray and is located at the same position as the vapor inlet of the reboiler? When is it used? Thank you
We are called Mingqi; it provides a heat source when the reboiler loses its capacity due to prolonged operation, or it supplies heat directly when the reboiler needs to be cleaned without shutting down.
Stirring steam. For regular use as a backup. This steam can be turned on when the reboiler is fouled or malfunctioning. The main drawback is that the condensate water cannot be recovered, resulting in high energy consumption. So, unless it’s absolutely necessary, don’t use it.
An additional heat source is provided when the steam capacity is insufficient
