As of now, urea prices have remained stable in most regions over the weekend, with only slight fluctuations in prices in areas such as Shandong, Hebei, and Jiangsu. The order volume for industrial compound fertilizer plants in Shandong region has decreased significantly, while downstream industrial plywood factories continue to place orders. The operating rate of urea production facilities in this area is low; a few plants with reduced capacity have raised their prices by 10–20 yuan per ton. The prices offered by the main manufacturers have increased by 10 yuan, reaching around 1200 yuan per ton. Only a few plants with high capacity have seen slight price reductions. Additionally, the reduced orders from compound fertilizer plants have led to a drop in prices in Linyi by 10–15 yuan, to... One large manufacturer has resumed production but operates at low capacity, while another manufacturer with high production levels has seen a slight decrease in its prices. Overall, the strict policies against overloading in road transport have made it somewhat difficult for some manufacturers to ship their products by road. The receipt of shipments by industrial compound fertilizer plants is nearing completion, and the price of urea is now close to or below the cost level, resulting in low production rates. It is expected that the price of urea will remain stable until results are available from the Indian bidding process. Once that process is over, and given that demand both in the domestic industrial and agricultural sectors remains weak, the price of urea is likely to fall further.
