The oxygen production cost varies depending on the equipment used; the cost designed for our equipment is 0.43 yuan per cubic meter, and it is lower in actual operation. There is also no specific, unified standard calculation method within the industry; generally, it is calculated based on the cost of oxygen.
Furthermore, energy consumption is not only related to the process chosen, but also to the manufacturer – companies like Hangyang and Huanghe, as well as foreign manufacturers, all differ in this regard.

For units of the same specification, with the correct process selected and proper equipment configuration, energy consumption is lower; for example, the external compression process generally has lower energy consumption than the internal compression process. 2. For air separation units of different specifications, the larger the specification, the lower the energy consumption. 3. The extraction efficiency of nitrogen and argon products is high, which in turn results in lower energy consumption. After all, both of these substances have value, especially argon, which has gained popularity recently. 4.
