Since I resigned from the company where I worked for 4 years 15 years ago, I haven’t been able to find a suitable job, which troubles me greatly. It seems that my family members are getting annoyed with me, thinking that I’m incompetent. When I think about what I’ve done over these 5 years, I realize I haven’t done anything at all; I just stay at home all day long, often losing my temper on my family. I don’t want to do this, but what can I do? Continuing to be unemployed
Why don’t you go look for a job? As long as you’re willing to work, you’ll definitely find one. May I ask how old you are this year?
I’m 28 now. I checked out a few companies, but the salary and working conditions were terrible, so I didn’t start working there. After all, I’ve been working for 5 years yet still have no experience; previous projects didn’t succeed, which delayed things
I resigned 14 years ago and haven’t found a job since. At the end of last year I applied to a company, but they rejected me, saying it was too small and not suitable for me! ! ! But during the time I was unemployed, I developed a new process for working with precious metals! I feel good about myself, but earning a few thousand per month to go to work seems unfair
I also went through a period of unemployment, in a situation similar to yours; it’s totally possible to use that time without a job to study and obtain certifications. I think that’s the best approach!
It seems like they don’t have any money; otherwise, they could open a small shop and sell things like breakfast~
It’s okay to be unemployed; find a industry you’re more familiar with and work there for now – it’s like looking for a horse while riding a donkey
Calm down, let go of your pride, and start over. Don’t be afraid of hard work – you’re still young, and it’s never too late to begin again. If you keep avoiding reality, things will get worse after you turn 30. There are many opportunities; jobs such as real estate sales, property management, brokerage, and hospitality don’t necessarily require high qualifications. They can serve as a stepping stone, which is better than staying at home. Even if one learns to drive and works as a taxi driver, they still need to live independently
That’s not a reason; if others can do it, why can’t one do it? Anything can be done as a transition.
