Dear Haihao friends: I would like to ask how to ground the feeding pumps in the chemical processing area (mainly the recycling area and tank area) Many experts who came to the site said that grounding is required on the pump, as well as at the base of the pump. I’m not sure if that’s indeed the case Are there any relevant standards? If the pump is three-phase and has a ground wire, does it still need to be grounded?
The pump and the base should be connected together with a grounding wire; grounding the base is also acceptable. The important thing is to verify that the grounding is proper
