As the title suggests: How do all those expert designers handle the process of submitting materials? I used a rather clumsy method, calculating it step by step. The results are also quite accurate. My friend used a software to do the calculation, but the figures he obtained varied quite a lot. Let’s discuss together to find a method that is both efficient and accurate~
What you described is essentially the same; different materials require different amounts of material for processing, and an additional amount should be added according to actual needs. In fact, small software can also be developed by oneself; the extent of its functionality depends on the level of detail put into its development.
PDS, or PTDSOF; but lined pipes don’t count
These days, software is used more often for statistics, as it is efficient after all.

Call a few close friends, bring four or five rolls of blueprints, and measure the pipes inch by inch :'(
