During the review of the 3D model for a project, it was found that for all vertical equipment, the legs and supports were not depicted; as a result, the equipment and pipes appeared to be hanging in mid-air, like ghosts hung upside down. The review comments require the addition of legs and ears. The response was that for details, please refer to documents such as the pipe outlet orientation diagram. The project manager explained that small renovation projects have short timelines and low costs; it’s sufficient to clearly explain the problems involved. I’m drunk too.

It’s their *usual practice; writing it down doesn’t really make much difference. Since the legs are not indicated, I didn’t see any other relevant documents during the review, and I also didn’t have time to examine them carefully. Two problems occurred with different projects. In one project, the height of the support legs of the vertical tank was lower than the center of gravity of the equipment, causing the tank to shake during production.
Writing it shows that you’ve seen it； Not writing means you didn’t see it; you lack the ability. ;P

The project manager explained that it is a minor renovation project with a short timeline and low costs; it’s sufficient to clearly explain the issues. Actually, larger projects are simplified in the same way; just use them as a makeshift solution – as long as there are no problems. The boss said the same thing.
Another project is a large basket filter with a DN800 diameter; it also does not have any supports, and it is placed at the center of the frame, away from the axes of the beams. The piping didn’t take into account the support for the basket filter; it’s a disaster.
When there are no problems, everyone is easy to talk to.
