Are there any safety regulations regarding the live cleaning of distribution cabinets? How do you guys usually proceed? :)
It cannot be cleaned while powered on. Cleaning of distribution cabinets: The low-voltage distribution cabinet system should be cleaned, inspected, tightened, and tested regularly twice a year. As a precaution, it is also possible to carry out all these tasks for the entire low-voltage distribution cabinet system at one time, after which the process can be repeated on a cyclical basis. I. Requirements for cleaning low-voltage distribution cabinets (1) After the operating party carries out the operation to cut off power to the low-voltage distribution cabinet, the party responsible for cleaning it must conduct voltage testing and discharge procedures. (2) Depending on the model of the low-voltage distribution cabinet and the low-voltage electrical appliances installed in it, appropriate protective measures should be taken to prevent dust and other debris from accidentally falling into those electrical appliances during cleaning operations. (3) The acceptance criterion for cleaning is that there is no dust on the low-voltage distribution cabinet and the enclosures of the low-voltage electrical appliances installed therein. During inspection, the inspector should wear white gloves and touch the accessible parts such as the low-voltage distribution cabinet and the enclosures of the installed low-voltage electrical appliances; acceptance is deemed successful if no dust adheres to the white gloves. (4) After the cleaning is completed and approved, the cleaning party must carefully check to ensure that no foreign objects have fallen in or been left inside the low-voltage distribution cabinets and the low-voltage electrical equipment installed therein. Only after the cleaning party signs the power restoration approval form can the operation party restore power supply. II. Inspection requirements for low-voltage distribution cabinets (1) Check the phase sequence and phase color. (2) Check the tightness and fixation of the wiring in the power distribution, control, protection, interlock, and metering circuits. (3) Check the terminal numbers against the drawing. (4) Check the zero point and range of the measuring instruments. (5) Check the protection setting range. III. Tightening requirements for low-voltage distribution cabinets (1) Tighten the wiring of the distribution circuits. (2) Tighten the wiring of control, protection, interlock, and metering circuits. (3) Tighten the neutral and ground wires. (4) Secure the low-voltage distribution cabinet and the low-voltage electrical appliances installed in it. IV. Inspection of low-voltage distribution cabinets (1) Inspection of low-voltage air circuit breakers. (2) External shunt protection unit detection.
The risk of live cleaning is too high, mainly because the process is difficult to control.
It depends on whether you handle the live cleaning work by outsourcing it or doing it yourself. If you do it yourself, do you do it while the power is turned off for safety reasons? As for outsourcing it, well, you know what I mean
Cleaning while the equipment is powered on carries risks; it’s best to turn off the power before cleaning, as this ensures safety for both people and equipment
We used to carry out electric cleaning once a month. But after one short-circuit incident, cleaning was no longer done while the device was powered on. It’s just too difficult to shut down the system once, so now there’s a lot of dust on the equipment, and there’s nothing that can be done about it~~
