Containers for this type of medium do not need to undergo a gas-tightness test.
What is naphtha? I’ve never heard of it. Could you tell me its components? Otherwise, how can we determine whether it needs to undergo a gas-tightness test? The key is to check whether the components inside are extremely or highly hazardous, or whether there are any substances for which even trace leaks are not allowed; if so, take action, otherwise do nothing
Naphtha is one of the petroleum products, also known as light oil for industrial use. It is a lightweight oil produced by processing crude oil or other raw materials and is used as a raw material in the chemical industry, primarily for reformation and other chemical processes. There are various boiling ranges depending on the application; in China, the boiling range is defined as from the initial boiling point up to around 220°C. When used as a reforming feedstock for the production of aromatics, the fraction ranging from 70°C to 145°C is referred to as light naphtha; when it is used to produce high-octane gasoline, the fraction ranging from 70°C to 180°C is called heavy naphtha. When used as a solvent, it is known as solvent naphtha. Aromatic solvents derived from coal tar are also referred to as heavy naphtha or solvent naphtha.
The toxicity level is not such that it constitutes an extremely or highly hazardous substance; minor leaks are normal in refineries, so there is no need to conduct airtightness tests.
It is not a highly hazardous medium, so no action is required
