I worked for 15 years at a provincial-level Class A chemical engineering design institute in Guangxi. I obtained the qualifications of registered chemical engineer and consulting engineer. This year I resigned, but the company held my certificates hostage; I had to return the allowance I received each month in order to get them back. Moreover, since the company’s consulting qualifications are due for review next year, they only released my chemical engineer certificate, and I still had to pay money to retrieve it. It’s frustrating. Does anyone have any good suggestions on how to get my certificates back, perhaps by reporting them as lost and having them reissued? ? ?

Doing that is illegal; you can file a lawsuit. The company doesn’t have the right to do that, and you are entitled to that safety allowance. Your former company was also a scumbag company – if you sue it, they will still have to pay you that amount, and your company will have to cover the litigation costs as well
Go directly to the arbitration office in the street where the company is located – they will definitely return it to you!
