I didn’t notice! Isn’t flow rate always calculated based on the pipe diameter? ? ? It starts at 1 meter per second, then 4.5 meters per second, with a maximum of no more than 6 meters per second! The end is also 1 meter per second! ! ! All are the specified maximum
The loading speed should be at least 30 cubic meters per hour, as specified in the design standards for oil storage facilities. This is easy to understand; there are other standards that govern the flow rate required for static electricity discharge, so there’s no need to worry about that. The appropriate pipe diameter should then be chosen based on the flow rate and volume. The requirements regarding traffic are actually related to production volume, the number of loading stations, and the size of the waiting areas; they also include capacity limits. The requirement for a specific loading speed has been removed, but other relevant factors will certainly be taken into consideration in the design.
In my opinion, the main reason for canceling this clause is its conflict with the flow rate and pipe diameter formulas specified in 4.2.3 and 4.3.3 of the \"Code for Static Electricity Safety of Liquid Petroleum Products\" (GB 13348-2009). For reference
