What do the axes on a PID diagram represent?

What is the purpose of these axes?
The lines around the drawing, the horizontal letters, and the vertical numbers.
I asked some guys from the design firm, and they said this was introduced from abroad and has no real utility; if it does have any use, it’s perhaps for using horizontal and vertical coordinates to locate specific equipment and pipelines in very complex flowcharts

This is the grid number, which is very useful. In engineering projects with a large number of devices, there are many PID diagrams, and they are extremely convenient for referring to the drawings and understanding the connections of the pipeline flows. Therefore, there are also certain rules for drawing flowcharts: data flows from left to right. It is ideal if, when two different PID diagrams are combined, the inlet and outlet pipes can be connected automatically.
I haven’t seen you in a long time. It’s probably related to maps – a certain area is designated to make it easier to find things. Area B3 in the drawings corresponds to things such as accuracy and latitude on the map.
