May I ask whether non-metallic pipes belong to pressure pipes? Can non-metallic materials be used for pressure pipelines? Because according to Article 2 of TSG-D001, these regulations apply to process units, auxiliary units, and industrial pipelines belonging to utility systems within the boundary area that meet the following conditions simultaneously (hereinafter referred to as pipelines). (1) Those with a maximum operating pressure of 0.1 MPa or greater (gauge pressure, the same below) ； (II) Those with a nominal diameter (Note 1) greater than 25 mm ； (III) When the transmission medium is gas, steam, liquefied gas, a liquid with a maximum operating temperature higher than or equal to its standard boiling point, or a flammable, explosive, toxic, or corrosive liquid. I am transporting corrosive liquids, and the pressure is greater than 0.1 MPa (gauge pressure); by definition this falls under the category of pressure pipelines. However, I am using non-metallic pipes. According to TSG-D001, Article 4 states that the following pipelines must comply with other relevant safety technical regulations: (1) Pipelines with a nominal pressure of 42 MPa or higher ； (II) Non-metallic pipes. Does that non-metallic pipe actually belong to the category of pressure pipes, and can non-metallic materials be used for pressure pipes? ? ? Very confused! !

The pipe diameter definitely meets the requirements for pressure pipes of 25 and above

Guidelines for the Use of Non-Metallic Pipes
What this sentence means is that non-metallic pipes must meet the relevant usage standards for such pipes; it doesn’t mean that they are not pressure pipes
