Our quality inspection agency has issued the Implementation Opinions of the Special Equipment Bureau of the General Administration of Quality Supervision, Inspection and Quarantine regarding the \"Safety Technical Inspection Regulations for Fixed Pressure Vessels\" (TSG 21-2016) (Quality Inspection Special Letter [2016] No. 46). These opinions state that pressure vessel materials must be accompanied by QR codes or barcodes. Currently, the warranty certificates for carbon steel or stainless steel pipes here do not contain QR codes. I would like to ask whether this is the case nationwide; we have consulted Qingshan Steel Pipe, Tianjin Steel Pipe, and others, and all of them said that such QR codes are not available. There are no QR codes, and they can’t be produced either – is this meant to force us to stop production? What should I do? Is there anyone on the forum who knows about this?
