Is it correct to turn off vibration monitoring before starting the compressor, and to re-enable it once the compressor is running properly? I think it should be kept on continuously; otherwise, it won’t provide any protection

It must be installed; otherwise what’s the point of vibration detection? The most important parameters for a compressor are vibration, displacement, and temperature. Not one of them may be missing, otherwise the consequences will be disastrous
