Plate heat exchanger for heating ethylene glycol

With a new person in charge of the heat exchanger, there is a project where the client requires water at 80 degrees to be used to heat ethylene glycol from 30 degrees to 40 degrees. What kind of process is this? What is it used for? It has been used for civilian purposes before; I’m a novice in the chemical industry – please give me some advice! ! ! Thank you so much! ! !
