Evaluation of Occupational Health and Safety Performance I. Control of Key Environmental Factors and Major Hazard Sources In 2011, the company identified 6 key environmental factors and 23 major hazard sources, all of which were controlled through operational measures, management plans, and emergency response plans. By providing employees with enhanced training on environmental and occupational health and safety, setting quantitative targets and management plans for various departments, improving management systems and control measures, and stepping up inspection efforts, effective control was achieved; no incidents of environmental pollution or occupational injuries related to significant environmental factors or major hazard sources occurred. II. Investigation and handling of accidents and incidents: Since the establishment of this system, thanks to improved training and awareness campaigns, enhanced management measures, and more thorough inspections, no environmental or occupational health and safety accidents or incidents have taken place. III. Compliance with Laws and Regulations: In 2011, 164 environmental and occupational health and safety laws and regulations were identified; additionally, newly revised laws and regulations such as the Fire Protection Law were re-identified and collected. Based on the compliance assessment conducted by the General Affairs Department, all 164 environmental and occupational health and safety laws and regulations have been found to be complied with; no violations of these legal requirements were detected in the company’s various office activities, construction work, or other supporting operations. IV. No complaints have been received from customers and related parties, nor from employees and related parties
