One should only check for any visible damage. It wasn’t installed for you, so you probably can’t see anything either. I’m also installing it here; the fan hasn’t arrived yet. We’ll share our experience with the inspection process when it’s time
The air-cooling fans should not yet be assembled or installed at the site. For unfabricated fans, it is only possible to check whether the blades are in good condition visually and whether the bearings rotate smoothly. Of course, when assembling them on-site, it is essential to adjust the angle of the blades according to the technical specifications; if the angle is too large, the motor will experience high loads and may suffer from overcurrent, while if the angle is too small, the required load cannot be achieved, which affects the efficiency of air cooling
Before purchasing a fan, a technical agreement should be signed, and the acceptance process shall be carried out in accordance with the terms of that agreement. The inspection upon unboxing includes checking whether the appearance of the equipment meets the requirements, whether the technical parameters listed on the equipment’s nameplate are consistent with those specified in the technical agreement, whether all the necessary documents are present, and whether the packing list matches the actual items shipped. After installation, conduct on-site trial operation to check whether it meets the usage requirements!
