There is very little dimensional data in the national standards for mechanical seals; how are the internal components of a mechanical seal determined?
Mechanical seals are all custom-made components; their internal parts are sized based on the pump chamber dimensions and the shaft diameter at that location provided by the pump manufacturer, while their strength is determined by the pressure within the sealing chamber.

How can one make money if there’s no difference? . Turning it into a standard component and then killing it bloody – doesn’t that help anyone make money? Go down the path of low price and poor quality again? I think it’s good to have some differences. . . If the price is high, one can find another manufacturer to carry out the surveying and mapping as a substitute. . If the price is reasonable, don’t overthink it. . We can’t just let domestic manufacturers starve to death, only for foreign companies to then overwhelm them all and establish a monopoly at high prices, right? Haven’t you learned from all the losses you’ve suffered over the years?
For the shaft diameter at the mechanical seal, in actual production I will mark it as 35.1 if the design drawing specifies a shaft diameter of 35. Damn it. Let’s see who will go do the surveying. It can capsize if not handled carefully. It was already bloody enough. . These days, everyone who sells pumps is looking to make some money from the accessories. . . Selling pumps – it’s not easy to earn even enough money for a pack of cigarettes from just one small pump. . .
