You are pumping out too little of the intermediate fraction oil from your fractionation tower; as a result, the amount of tail oil at the bottom increases. At the same time, the light components in the tail oil increase, causing the initial boiling point to drop. Also, an increase in reflux could affect the initial boiling point of the tail oil as well!
Stabilize the bottom temperature of the fractionation tower and increase diesel recovery!
