Colleagues, do you have any empirical data on power consumption after three years of normal operation of ion exchange membranes? Please share the power consumption and operating hours of your company as well. *learn* *learn* Our company’s current density is 5.49; it has been in operation for three years, with an electricity consumption of around 2320
Our company has been in operation for two and a half years; the power consumption for 5.5 KA/M2 AC power is 2165 KWH per ton
This post was last edited by aldd7611 on 2016-11-8 at 19:46. Is the overall consumption statistics included? The calculation of consumption varies from one enterprise to another, and the way in which caustic soda production is measured affects the final electricity consumption figure.
Is it a zero-gap cell or a high-current-density cell? If it is a zero-gap cell, the power consumption is somewhat high; whereas in the case of a high-current-density cell, the power consumption is relatively low.
We include the amount of saline water per batch in the production volume using alkali.

Is it the DC specific consumption or the AC specific consumption? It’s quite good if it’s for communication.
What type of groove is it? That’s great; after 3 years at a current density of 5.5, your cell voltage should not exceed 3.05V
