Consider at least 5D in front of and behind. . .
The top 10 and bottom 5 should both be sufficient
If there is enough space, it can be done however one wishes. What I’ve seen is 4D at the beginning and 2D afterward

So for design, 10 in the front and 5 at the back is usually sufficient
