Articles 3.5.1 and 3.5.2 of the newly formulated standard GB 50016 stipulate that the fire protection distance between Class A and Class B warehouses and the roadside of roads outside the factory should be 20 meters. And now there is a newly built liquid chlorine storage facility that is 5 meters away from the factory’s perimeter wall; outside that wall is the road leading outside the factory. Is this acceptable?
This definitely does not meet the standards; I wonder how your original design drawings got approved ; It’s very likely that it won’t pass the safety inspection in the future

This is explicitly stipulated as something that must be followed; the safety assessment does not mention whether avoidance is required, so one can inquire with the safety assessment company about the evaluation conducted at the time
Liquid chlorine storage areas are indeed very dangerous; they can act as an accelerant for combustion and are highly toxic. It is best to maintain sufficient safety distances in strict accordance with regulatory requirements.
