As the title suggests, in the food industry, where should the manhole for thin-walled, inclined-bottom containers at atmospheric pressure be located? Why?
It depends on the function of the manhole you need; generally, they are located on the top of the tank or at the bottom on the sides, to facilitate maintenance and the removal of contents from inside. There are also cases where such manholes aren’t necessary
There’s a discharge pump right at the bottom on the side – could that interfere with the function of the manhole?
