The added value of residuum oil is low; is there any technology for the cycloconversion of residuum oil to produce aromatics in order to increase its value?；
Used to extract o-xylene or for isomerization removal
Many refineries currently have an excess of residue oil and struggle to find a proper use for it; it’s unclear why they don’t use it in processing operations
