The equipment has not yet been insulated; without taking any measures, will the castable get damaged by freezing? ? ? The casting material is silicon carbide
As long as the gasification furnace has been properly dried out in accordance with the plan, there will be no impact.
It is recommended to ask the manufacturer whether there are any relevant solutions. If not, consult the supplier of the castable and develop a plan based on its properties; if the castable is sensitive to freezing, the only option is to operate the furnace at a low temperature

Since the casting material is ready, let’s start heating the furnace now – what are we waiting for? Baking the furnace and starting up do not conflict with each other. The pouring of the refractory material and the furnace drying should be planned as simultaneous tasks; usually, it is the refractory material manufacturer who provides the plans for pouring and drying.
