I came across a project where the client requested solenoids with explosion protection ratings of ExdIICT5 and ExdIIICT120Da I do know ExdIICT5; what is ExdIIICT120Da? Is this explosion-proof rating available?

This is the explosion-proof mark for explosive dust environments. But there is no Exd; instead, there are Ex tD/iD/mD/p, with D divided into a, b, and c. IIIA refers to flammable fly ash, IIIB denotes non-conductive dust, and IIIC represents conductive dust. T120℃ means the maximum surface temperature is 120℃. Da represents the equipment protection level (classified as Da, Db, and Dc), indicating a high level; it can be used in zones 20, 21, and 22. Db can be used in zones 21 and 22, while Dc can be used in zone 22. For specific details, refer to the 10 standards in total, GB 12476.1~10.
