For the type of furnace tube you mentioned, which has spring-supported hangers at its upper part, the lower part of the furnace tube is usually fixed. As the furnace tube expands when heated and contracts when cooled, and since its lower part is fixed, it is the upper part that deforms; the hangers serve to absorb this deformation. The complete separation of the supports and hangers from the furnace tubes indicates that they are no longer functional in this state; I consider this to be abnormal behavior.

The hanger-mounted furnace tube is unable to absorb thermal expansion, resulting in bending stress that causes damage to the furnace tube at the circumferential welds. The hangers should be inspected regularly and adjusted if necessary, to ensure that they can fully bear the net weight load of the furnace tubes during operation.
