Difficulty in pressing and filtering aluminum slag – seeking help

In our company’s new projects, the aluminum slag produced by wet processes is difficult to filter using pressure filters. Dear colleagues, is there any way to improve this situation? The feasible solutions that come to mind at present include heating (with possibly only modest improvements), adding auxiliary filter residue (the acid residue produced by the system; this residue is easier to filter, but its use may affect the amount of residue generated, and it contains a high level of residual acid, which could impact the process). What about adding activated carbon and quartz sand?
Hello, how do you handle your aluminum slag? Sell it or give it away? Is there a standard code for corresponding aluminum slag? Aluminum slag is easier to filter after it has settled
