The project manager has the authority to select team members, assess their performance, appoint and dismiss them, define their responsibilities, decide on rewards and punishments, reassign tasks, give instructions, and terminate employment; furthermore, they are responsible for selecting and dismissing the workforce within the framework of the company’s and the project team’s policies and regulations.
