When installing the jacket, should it be done in segments of every two elbows or based on length?

Principle 1: The area where the jacket extends must not experience condensation (or crystallization). This is likely related to the lowest temperature in the region; in any case, it is based on experience. Principle 2: Minimize the number of welds on the inner tube inside the jacket. This was actually a requirement in the past; however, with improvements in construction quality and management standards, this requirement is less emphasized these days. The flaw detection of the inner tube used to be done through coloring, but now it is entirely carried out using X-rays. Apart from my own understanding and requirements based on practical production experience, it was only in the past three years that I came across some relevant standards (electronic versions of these standards are available for download online or within Haichuan): FJJ 211-86 – Specifications for the construction and acceptance of jacketed pipes; SH/T 3040-2002 – Design specifications for pipelines and jacketed pipes in the petrochemical industry; SH/T 3040-2012 – Design specifications for pipelines and jacketed pipes in the petrochemical industry; SH/T 3546-2011 – Specifications for the construction and acceptance of jacketed pipes in the petrochemical industry
Jacketed tubes are divided into full jackets and half jackets

It depends on the operational requirements; when the requirements are not high, a larger tube sleeve is used around a smaller tube, with the smaller tube being welded together. The larger tube, which is shorter than the smaller one, is welded to the smaller tube by making an opening in it and joining them together
