How to select a regular blowdown valve for a boiler?

RT. The unit is equipped with a waste heat boiler, which requires a fixed-drain valve, but I’m not sure how to select the appropriate model. Is there a manual that explains this interval valve?

Generally, one isolation valve and one drain valve are used; ball valves or plug valves are not recommended in areas with high levels of calcium and magnesium ions in the water. Since it is likely to get clogged with scale and fail to close properly, a quick-opening swing valve should be used.
