A steam pressure of 5 bar is no problem; the heat exchange efficiency of the plate exchanger is very good. Our company has used it before, and the key is to ensure that the material of the plates and gaskets can withstand high temperatures. Also, the material of the interface flanges must be able to withstand thermal expansion and contraction; our plate heat exchanger has experienced cracks in the interface flanges.
